Us
Southcliffe Hall is first and foremost our home, where we (Kate and Barry) live with our small son and border terrier.
Finding a home with no traffic noise took two years and over five hundred viewings before we found Southcliffe Hall. We hope you enjoy the tranquillity as much as we do.
We know most about hospitality from being guests, and hope that our enthusiasm and approach reflects how we would want to be treated when we are on holiday. We love meeting new people, and have long entertained guests in our homes here and abroad before our lives at Southcliffe Hall.
A historian by education, Kate used to be a management consultant. Barry was a banker but now is chief log-chopper. Our son loves meeting new people, and Boo is just Boo (although also a former supermodel as a twice over Crufts Champion).
We have now chosen a much more tranquil life now, and look forward to sharing our lovely home with you.
